This tea tastes great and is a great herbal tea to drink in the evenings (or all through the day like me). I am on a heavy long-term antibiotic treatment for a lung infection... this treatment can damage the liver. I started drinking this tea and also taking milk thistle capsules and have been pleased to see my liver readings improve substantially!

Liver Juice is a blend of herbs that support the elimination of waste products through the body's detoxification pathways. Supporting your liver pathways can help with the appearance of healthy skin (think blemishes) as well as hormone balance and energy levels. Optimizing phase I & II detoxification pathways is essential to our overall well-being, so supporting the body in its natural processes can make a difference in the way that we feel each and every day.*
Closer to a tart berry than an actual grape, the Oregon grape (also known as holly-leaved barberry) is a bitter herb, historically harvested for its roots as a tool for digestive and microbiome health, liver support, and general well-being.*
One of the healthiest organ meats known to man (or woman), grass fed beef liver provides astronomically beneficial health effects. Liver is high in vitamins A, D, E, K, B12 and folic acid, and minerals such as copper and iron.
I cannot attribute the poor quality of the dish I prepared to the quality of the meat. I cannot really attest to whether this is "good" or "bad" meat, as this was only the second time I've eaten liver to my recollection, the preceding time being in the form of pâté at a Jewish deli on a sandwich. Very diffferent experiences. The flavor of the meat was incredibly strong. INCREDIBLY strong. I let it soak in some local organic milk for about four hours, drained most of the milk out, and left it in the fridge for about a day. Maybe should have done otherwise, as it apparently can be left to soak for up to 24 hours. After trying to cook a simple liver and onions with bacon recipe, I found that, while tasty straight out of the pan, the flavor was overwhelming. I could taste the metalic flavor of the liver (or of the blood in the meat, which was still seeping out when I took it out of the fridge for the final preparation) for almost an hour after consuming, and it was a bit nauseating. There was no way I could have eaten more than a slice of it after cooking it the first time. Upon reheating, the flavor was still not quite right, and I had to throw it into a stew I had going. Whether that was for the best or not, I can't say, but I refuse to waste good meat. It was not until cooking it through a third time that the meat was tollerable, and I suspect that I may have left it raw in the middle of the liver slices on the initial cooking. I still have three more livers to go through, and some kidneys, so I'll have plenty of occasions to experiment with getting it right, or trying other dishes, such as making a pâté or liverwurst.
Firstly, crisp up some bacon in a skillet with some Organic Onions & garlic. Then add some mushrooms and herbs to your liking. Push everything in the skillet to one side and add in slices of organic liver. Turn down the heat to medium and cook through for 10 minutes.
Optimal sourcing is at the heart of what we do. Our beef liver is sourced from grass-fed & grass-finished organic beef, raised on ancient floodplains in the pure heart of Australia. Lake Eyre Basin is a land of ancient purity, so remote that the grasslands have been virtually untouched for millions of years.
With our own history coming from a multi-generational family of traditional cattle farmers, it is key that we partner with the very best family farmers who have chosen organic livestock farming as a way of life.
Each farm has full certified organic transparency via Australian standard third party organic & bio dynamic audits, while precise quality inspections are carried out to ensure complete compliance at all times.
After working away in remote areas of the country, we know firsthand the difficulty of sourcing quality organs for consumption. This is why we created this range - to provide our community with access to quality, certified organic, nutrient dense organs without any of the guess work.
We start with U.S. raised USDA Organic Chicken as the #1 ingredient, just like the chicken you have the opportunity to purchase from your local butcher, and mix it with a precise blend of organic ingredients, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals expressly blended for optimal nutrition.
We guarantee that the organic chicken contained in each and every Tender & True Organic Premium Chicken & Liver Recipe pet product has been certified humanely raised by the Global Animal Partnership, a third-party nonprofit charitable organization, founded in 2008, that brings together farmers, scientists, ranchers, retailers, and animal advocates to improve the welfare of animals in agriculture.

Is it healthy to eat chicken livers everyday? Also how do you eat them? Do you have to cook them or are they already seasoned and cooked? I have never cooked them at home before only had chicken livers in french restaurants. Thanks for your advice
